And, we now have another pet. . .a fish! Although, technically it's a "decoration" :-). I went out and bought a bowl and other aquarium needs one day. Then, when Jon discovered them he pointed out that I hadn't asked if I could get another pet. Well, using my great bargaining skills I told him it's not a pet--it's a decoration. Although, really, I should have asked first :-(. I promised I wouldn't get any more pets without asking.
The kids named him Beau (pronounced Bo). After I got him home I realized that he had a fungus on his tail which began to fall off. So, I had to go and get some medicine for him too. The only pet we've had so far without "health problems" is Bungee. Fortunately, Beau lived and his tail is starting to grow back. I really like this kind of fish and after lugging one around all during our Pre-field Ministry (yes, really!) I guess I would miss having one as a pet, er, decoration :-).
