I finally got around to taking pictures of the kids with their teachers (on the last day of class!). The kids really enjoyed themselves at "Rayitos del Sol" (little sunbeams). In fact as I was uploading the pictures Lucas asked if we could call Monica. Then, when he saw the picture of her he asked if he could kiss her. I think he misses her (and going to class too).

The last day of class (before graduation), my class went to a Biosphere park (or something like that). As we walked around there were some Iguanas sunning themselves. I decided to get a close up. I really was pretty close (but, I did use zoom too :-)). I didn't want to get too close and scare them off. There were also some ants called "Bullet Ants". They're huge (almost two inches long)!! You definitely don't want to get bit by one because it's very painful and the pain lasts about 3 hours! I guess if a lot of them bite you they can kill you. I hope I don't get any of those in my house! Actually, I probably won't because they're usually in the rain forest.

Graduation went well (oh, I forgot to post a picture of my diploma!! :-)). Now we're just hanging out at home and getting ready for our trip to the beach. I had a whole list of things to get (water shoes, buckets, sunscreen--more of it anyway :-), swimsuit, etc.). We found a nice store near our house that has some really good prices. We thought it was a baby store because it's called "Pequeño Mundo" (small world) and the lettering was very colorful--like Toys R Us or something. But, it turns out it has lots of household goods. Too bad we didn't know about it when we first moved here. Oh well, at least when we take on a family as our Little Brother and Sister we'll know where to take them :-).
