Boyd Bear Tracks

This blog has been created so you can track us Boyd bears down and peek in at what we're doing. Just don't touch the porridge!

For those of you who have been wondering, I did pass the comprehensive grammar test :-). I got about 80% (80 point something). So, I can graduate! The kids are doing better. We've changed their bedtime (once again!) to 7:30 p.m. instead of 7:00 so they don't wake up at 5:00 a.m. anymore. The last couple of days they've been getting up closer to 6 a.m. (which to me is not much better :-)).

Stockings is getting pretty big. I guess he's not going to be a dwarf rabbit. Maybe that's better because then the cat will think twice before it tries to eat him! Usually after the kids go to bed I hold him for awhile so he can get used to people. He's always licking me (which I hope doesn't turn into biting), so I decided to look up what it meant in rabbit language. :-) Okay, so it was an excuse to surf the web! Anyway, apparently it means he feels affection for me. Maybe he thinks I'm his mom (which I practically am--feeding, cleaning, exercising, cuddling: I have another toddler!). Lucas and Ellie love to feed him cilantro (an herb which he really likes) and grass from our backyard.

Spanish update: The kids know how to sing "Deep and Wide" in Spanish. Lucas actually knows the words (except he has his own version of how to say some of them), but Ellie just does the actions and sings "Ahh, ahh, ahh". And speaking of Spanish, Lucas taught Jon a new word: "dragón" which of course means dragon. :-) Plus, when Jon asked him what "Dios hizo los pájaros" meant he said, "It means, God made the birds" (which is absolutely correct!).
