Today I had to go to the National Museum as part of my homework. Actually I could have gone any day except yesterday Ellie was sick and Monday they're closed. So, we went today. James went with us. As we were leaving he asked if we were going to bring the camera. I told him I really didn't like to bring it in case it got lost. Well, believe it or not, we (I?) left it in the taxi!! James called the taxi company for us (he speaks the best Spanish--smile), but they couldn't get ahold of the taxi driver. So as we walked through the museum we didn't really notice much because we had the camera on our minds. They had a live butterfly display, but the butterflies weren't very active because it was raining (it was in a garden covered with a mesh net so they couldn't get out). To add to this very "depressing" day, Lucas got sick! Actually, we had to run to the bathroom from the butterfly garden. However, when we got home James called the taxi company again and (Praise the Lord!!) the taxi driver said he had the camera and would stop by with it. Needless to say we gave the driver a nice tip (for his honesty!!). All in all, it was a pretty crazy day! But thankfully, God sustained us through it! I know you've been praying and I can tell you . . . your prayers are being answered!! Even when you don't always know what to pray for. At least I'll have quite a story to share with my class about my trip to the museum (ha, ha!).
