I know, I know. . .with four kids it's going to be a circus anyway; but, we have added some new acts!
Ladies and Gentlemen. . . we now present for your enjoyment. . .The Great, the Talented. . .
Jason the contortionist!
He recently found his toes and they're now his favorite toy!! The doctor said his weight, height, and motor skills would be the norm for a five month old (Jason's only 4 months). The doctor actually asked me if I was sure I had the month of his birth correct! Of course! I even have pictures to prove it! As Jon says, "He's advanced for his age!" :-)
AND NOW (drum roll). . .
Marcos the Animal Trainer!
Marcos loves playing with Ellie's bird (Lollipop). He just recently got over his fear of the "claws" on her feet. Before, he would refuse to put her on his finger. If she happened to touch him, he would yell, "Ow, ow, ow, nooooo!" But, now he loves to do "step-up" so much he won't let anyone else work with her when he's around!
Oh, and did I mention that he likes to tell Boomer to "tit" and "tum"? Boomer just kind of ignores him though. I guess Marcos needs to work a little more on that act :-)!
Lucas and Eliana got their new bikes so now we could just get a big steel ball for them to ride around in. . .or maybe NOT! The "ball of death" doesn't sound like anything I want my kids doing!
And Lucas, well his new act is trying to take over the world!! He just set up his Axis and Allies game (in a closed off room so his little brother doesn't wreck it). However, he has to conquer it in the next week because then that room is not going to be closed off anymore :-).
We have a week left of school. This summer I think we'll be working on electives (except there's no choice in the matter :-))--Drawing and Recorder. Plus, I need to get my boxes from the Medinas' house and find a place for everything, or sell it! So, I guess probably another garage sale is in the works too :-)! That is, if I can get MY act together :-)!!!
