It's finally looking like "rainy season". For the last couple of days it has been raining almost all day long! I guess I should be thankful because the roof definitely doesn't leak anymore (at least not in the spot where it was fixed). The only leaks were small ones running down the wall. Not at all like the waterfall we used to have in the livingroom!
Yesterday we managed to play kickball during a short "sunny spot" in the morning. It was part of Lucas' P.E. class. I picked the teams, and I chose badly! It was boys vs. girls. Of course, Lucas and Jon won! With Ellie it's kind of like playing "solo" and I did a lot of running! The grass was kind of slippery too, and I "wiped out" trying to avoid being tagged. Jon says that I take sports too seriously :-)!
Wanda finally went home on Monday! It's so peaceful around the house without her! I'm sure with some training she would be a nice dog. But, it would take more than a week and a half to do it. It was a good experince for Jon :-)! Now, instead of calling Boomer a "wretch" he says, "El es muy noble" (spanish for "He's very noble" --loyal, honest, a nobleman). Boomer really is a good dog and now he's proved it :-).
