Boyd Bear Tracks

This blog has been created so you can track us Boyd bears down and peek in at what we're doing. Just don't touch the porridge!

Jason and Marcos are constantly showing love to each other.  Jason loves to hug and kiss Marcos.  Marcos loves to play with Jason's hair and squeeze him.  Sometimes they get a little rough with each other, but usually they just want to show the other how much he is loved!  I can only hope that they will continue to show brotherly love and not sibling rivalry!

 "CHEESE"

After that great example of brotherly love. . .I should mention a good book that I have been reading:
Loving the Way Jesus Loves.  It has really challenged my thinking about the way that I love others.  When I compare how I react to people to the way Jesus reacted there is a HUGE difference, obviously :-)!  But, it has helped me to realize that I have a few. . .no, several things to work on!

I had started roller-blading again (after about 14 years) and was really enjoying myself.  Boomer was enjoying getting out a little more--he went with me and then, after a bit, I would tie him up and do some more laps.  However one day, doing a spin, the wheels separated from the boot and I went flying!!  Fortunately, I wasn't going too fast so I wasn't hurt (only a small scratch and several bruises).  The other piece of good news is that when I fell, Boomer was tied up so he couldn't be blamed at all for the mishap :-)--Jon calls him "worthless," but I do not agree!!.  Unfortunately, there is no way to fix the rollerblade so I will be looking into getting some new ones.  The other bad news is that it is hard to find roller-blades here so my exercise program has gone down the drain for now.  Hopefully I'll be able to find some and get back with the "plan."
